in me omnis spes est mihi
Me, Design and Artwork
I'm a mechanical engineer. But i see myself, first and foremost, as an engineer that i feel it deeply. There is a magical word at the core of my life that is 'Design'. Design of something interests me in every step of the life. Design of an aircraft, a website, an application interface, a software, interior design of a house, a garden, a sweatshirt and even a tea spoon...
What i believe is, when you put your heart and soul into a design, you create an Artwork.
Creativity
“To an engineer, good enough means perfect. With an artist, there’s no such thing as perfect.”
– Alexander Calder
Professionalism
For some, being professional might mean dressing smartly at work, or doing a good job. For others, being professional means having advanced degrees or other certifications, framed and hung on the office wall. Professionalism encompasses all of these definitions. But, it also covers much more.
Perspective
Enlarge your point of view and be yourself, believe yourself.
“In me omnis spes est mihi (In all hope for me)”
– Terentius, Adelphoe
About My Career
I have been working at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) company as mechanical engineer since 2008 in Ankara, TURKEY. In my first 8.5 years of my career, i performed system administration and software support of some CAD/CAM/CAE engineering tools, mainly CATIA V5. Especially for CATIA V5, i supplied end-user support from A-Z including developing macros and provided trainings for CATIA V5. In addition to these, i also performed system administration of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system which is one of the main systems of the company.
Since the beginning of 2017, I have been working as design specialist at TF-X (Turkish Fighter – Experimental) project which is a twin-engine, 5th generation, all-weather air superiority jet fighter being developed by TAI with technological assistance from BAE Systems. Currently, i am working on surface design and structural design with 3DExperience tool of Dassault Systemes in this project. On the other hand, i am developing macros with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and CATScripts for both CATIA V5 and 3DExperience.
